The PV Cycle organisation is setting up a voluntary take-back and recycling system for used modules across Europe. This Brussels-based initiative is supported by the European Commission. On the initiative of the organisation, collection points will be set up throughout Germany in the coming years. If the nearest collection point is more than 50 km from the residence or business, PV Cycle offers a free pick-up service for 30 or more modules. The cost of setting up the entire system is borne voluntarily by PV Cycle members.
