Flasher
A flasher is a technical measuring device (simulation chamber) that exposes the module to a brief light flash under Standard Test Conditions (STC). STC is defined as an irradiation of 1000 W/m² on the module surface at a module temperature of 25 °C. During this process, values for voltage, current, and power (as a multiplier) are measured.
The flasher is used for quality assurance in the manufacturing of solar modules and the commissioning of photovoltaic systems, enabling the early detection of defects and power losses.
