Fox ESS H3 Pro inverters: A new league is here

Following the boom in the residential PV market from 2020 to 2023, the demand for large photovoltaic (PV) systems has increased in 2024. In response, Fox ESS has developed the H3 Pro high-performing inverters with an output power of up to 29.9 kW , designed to support more powerful modules.

Previously, Fox ESS produced the H3 E series of 3-phase hybrid inverters for residential systems, offering power classes ranging from 5 to 12 kW. The new H3 Pro series has been developed based on the existing product range. You can continue to control and monitor the systems easily using the FoxCloud app.

The H3 Pro series offers many new possibilities. These are its greatest advantages:

• High Power Output
  The Fox ESS H3 Pro inverter is available in the power classes 15, 20, 24.9 and 29.9 kW. This means it has more than enough power reserves for commercial and residential buildings.
• Versatile design
  Equipped with 3 MPPT, the H3 Pro series is specifically designed for larger PV systems. This versatility enables flexible installations on different structures, such as agricultural buildings, or complex roof configurations. The inverters are easily compatible with Fox ESS high-voltage batteries and can support additional loads, such as charging an electric company car.
• Emergency power capability
  All H3 Pro inverters offer a fully integrated 3-phase emergency power supply. When paired with a Fox ESS battery storage system, this feature provides a high level of security during severe weather conditions and ensures that essential commercial appliances or the heat pump will continue to operate in the event of a power failure.
• Extensive equipment
  Each H3 Pro inverter includes a Fox ESS smart meter, preparing the system for the upcoming smart meter rollout in 2025. Additionally, the inverters are equipped with a WiFi dongle, two RS485 ModBus connections, as well as LAN and USB functionality. They also feature connections for meters and the CAN (Controller Area Network) protocol for seamless communication with a storage system.
