LG THERMA V air-to-water heat pump with 12 kW heating capacity and R32 refrigerant
The new LG Monobloc S (Surpreme) series replaces the old Monobloc series. It is more silent and more energy efficient.
With the LG THERMA V heat pump series, LG Electronics offers a heat pump that covers the entire heating and domestic hot water demand. The outdoor unit should be placed in the immediate vicinity of the building. The Monobloc S air/water heat pump can still offer 100% heating capacity at flow temperatures up to 55 °C and outdoor temperatures of -7 °C. At -15 °C, the heating capacity is still 95%. This makes the LG THERMA V air-to-water heat pump effective for both new and existing buildings. The refrigerant R32 is used for the heat generation process. It has a low Global Warming Potential value.
The LG THERMA V heat pump can be integrated into the LG Home Energy Package. With it, LG provides a holistic system that intelligently connects PV modules with the EES energy storage system (battery storage and inverter) and the heat pump. Communication with the LG heat pump and the EES energy storage system occurs via RS485.
With a heating output of 12 kW, the HM123MR.U34 air-to-water heat pump is suitable for the new-build segment. In addition to the outdoor unit, the HA031M.E1 backup heater is required. If the heat pump, with the LG Home Energy Package, should also be visualised and controlled via smartphone, a WiFi module including extension cable is required. A domestic hot water tank including connection kit and temperature sensor is also necessary.
