LG THERMA V hot water storage electrical connection kit
The electrical connection kit enables a 230 V heating element in the hot water storage tank to be controlled by the THERMA V control unit. The kit (consisting of a plastic housing with pre-wired switching relay and a circuit breaker as well as a temperature sensor for the hot water tank) is installed near the THERMA V heat pump. The connection kit requires a 230 V supply line, which also supplies the heating element of the hot water tank with power. It is controlled via a 230 V signal from the THERMA V. The temperature sensor of the hot water tank must be connected to the main board of the THERMA V.
Function: Switching the external heating element on/off via a 230 V signal, e.g. to enable legionella bacteria prevention.
